HOMELESS CAMPAIGNER FR PETER McVERRY TO SPEAK LAUNCHING AMBITIOUS PLAN FOR 1135 NEW HOMES

Ruth Coppinger TD and Solidarity have come up with an ambitious proposal for Fingal to build 1,135 social and affordable homes in Damastown on the last remaining Council-owned land bank in Dublin 15.

Ruth will speak alongside PETER McVERRY, at a public meeting to launch the campaign on Wednesday 6th December in Mountview Community Centre

We a proposing that 50% of these new homes are new social housing, while the other 50% are offered as an affordable mortgage scheme.

Our proposal contains new parks, playgrounds, a cafe and shops, a dedicated youth centre for young people, a new community centre, a new linear park in the Pinkeen river valley.

Another 50 acres of land is available nearby for schools and additional community facilities.
